सुभाषितम्( NOBLE THOUGHTS)

 सुखार्थी च त्यजेद् विद्या विद्यार्थी च त्यजेत् सुखम्।

सुखार्थिनः कुतो विद्या कुतो विद्यार्थिनः  सुखम्।।

अर्थात्,

       सुख के ईच्छा‌ रखने वाले को विद्या छोडना पडता है और विद्या के अभिलाषि को सुख त्याग करना पडता है। सुखाभिलाषी का विद्या कहां होता है और विद्यार्थिओं का सुख कहां?

Meaning --

         Education is difficult for those who are tempted by happiness and the one who desires knowledge would sacrifice happiness. There is no knowledge for those who desire pleasure no pleasure for pupils who seek knowledge.

सुभाषितम् (NOBLE THOUGHTS)

 युक्ताहार विहारस्य युक्तचेष्टस्य कर्मसु।

युक्त स्वप्नाववोधस्य योगो भवति दुःखहा।।

अर्थात्,

           जो नियमित आहार विहार करता है, जो कार्य में नियत चेष्टा करता है, जिसका निद्रा और जागरण नियत हो, उसका दुःख निवारण कारक योग सिद्ध होता है।

Meaning --

     One who maintains proper diet and healthy lifestyle, who practices regularly in the work, whose sleep and wakefulness is in control, his trial of getting relieved from suffering would be a success.
