Shloka:
धनानि जीवितं चैव परार्थे प्राज्ञ उत्सृजेत्।
सन्निमित्ते वरं त्यागो विनाशे नियते सति।।
अर्थात्:
विद्वान दूसरों के उपकार के लिए धन और जीवन उत्सर्ग करना चाहिए। क्योंकि जब सभी चीजों का विनाश निश्चित है तब परोपकार के लिए धनादि का उत्सर्ग श्रेष्ठ है।
Meaning:
Wise people should dedicate their wealth and life for charitableness. As destruction of things is fixed, so it's great to dedicate wealth etc for the benevolence of others.
